定义 · 4.4 多面体的基本群

给定一个弧连通的单纯复形 $K$，总存在满足这些条件的子复形 $L$。一个弧连通且单连通的一维单纯复形称为树(tree)。若树 $T_{\mathrm{M}}$ 不是其他树的真子集，则称它为 $K$ 的极大树(maximal tree)。

Given an arcwise-connected simplicial complex $K$ , there always exists a subcomplex $L$ that satisfies these conditions. A one-dimensional simplicial complex that is arcwise connected and simply connected is called a tree. A tree $T_{\mathrm{M}}$ is called the maximal tree of $K$ if it is not a proper subset of other trees.
