零截面

定义 · 9.3 向量丛

其中 $p\in M$，$f\in \mathcal{F}(M)$。每个纤维的零向量 0 在 $\mathrm{GL}(k,\mathbb{R})$（或 $\mathrm{GL}(k,\mathbb{C})$）作用下保持不变，因而具有特殊的地位。任何向量丛 $E$ 都容许一个称为零截面(null section)的整体截面 $s_0\in \Gamma (M,E)$，使得在任意局部平凡化下都有 ${\varphi }_i^{-1}(s_0(p))=(p,0)$。

where $p\in M$ and $f\in \mathcal{F}(M)$ . The null vector 0 of each fibre is left invariant under $\mathrm{GL}(k,\mathbb{R})$ (or $\mathrm{GL}(k,\mathbb{C})$ ) and plays a distinguished role. Any vector bundle $E$ admits a global section called the null section $s_0\in \Gamma (M,E)$ such that ${\varphi }_i^{-1}(s_0(p))=(p,0)$ in any local trivialization.
