定义 · 7.8 非坐标基

这表明，若 $M$ 是 $\dim M=m$ 的黎曼流形，则 $\{{\Lambda }_{\beta }^{\alpha }(p)\}\in \mathrm{SO}(m)$；若 $M$ 是洛伦兹流形，则 $\{{\Lambda }_{\beta }^{\alpha }(p)\}\in \mathrm{SO}(m-1,1)$。这些李群的维数为 $m(m-1)/2=m^2-m(m+1)/2$，即 $e_{\alpha }^{\mu }$ 的自由度与 $g_{\mu \nu }$ 的自由度之差。在局部标架旋转 ${\Lambda }_{\beta }^{\alpha }(p)$ 下，指标 $\alpha ,\beta ,\gamma ,\delta ,\dots$ 发生旋转，而 $\kappa ,\lambda ,\mu ,\nu ,\dots$（世界指标(world index)）不受影响。在旋转 (7.148) 下，基向量的变换为

This implies that $\{{\Lambda }_{\beta }^{\alpha }(p)\}\in \mathrm{SO}(m)$ if $M$ is Riemannian with $\dim M=m$ and $\{{\Lambda }_{\beta }^{\alpha }(p)\}\in \mathrm{SO}(m-1,1)$ if $M$ is Lorentzian. The dimension of these Lie groups is $m(m-1)/2=m^2-m(m+1)/2$ , that is the difference between the degrees of freedom of $e_{\alpha }^{\mu }$ and $g_{\mu \nu }$ . Under the local frame rotation ${\Lambda }_{\beta }^{\alpha }(p)$ , the indices $\alpha ,\beta ,\gamma ,\delta ,\dots$ are rotated while $\kappa ,\lambda ,\mu ,\nu ,\dots$ (world indices) are not affected. Under the rotation (7.148), the basis vector transforms as
