齐次坐标

定义 · 5.1 流形

$a\in \mathbb{R}-\{0\}$ 使得 $y=ax$。于是 $\mathbb{R}{P}^n=({\mathbb{R}}^{n+1}-\{0\})/\sim$。这 $n+1$ 个数 $x^0,x^1,\dots ,x^n$ 称为齐次坐标(homogeneous coordinates)。齐次坐标不能构成一个好的坐标系，因为 $\mathbb{R}{P}^n$ 是一个 $n$ 维流形（一个 $(n+1)$ 维空间，其中消去了一个一维自由度）。坐标卡的定义如下。首先取坐标邻域 $U_i$ 为满足 $x^i\ne 0$ 的那些直线构成的集合，然后在 $U_i$ 上引入非齐次坐标

exists $a\in \mathbb{R}-\{0\}$ such that $y=ax$ . Then $\mathbb{R}{P}^n=({\mathbb{R}}^{n+1}-\{0\})/\sim$ . The $n+1$ numbers $x^0,x^1,\dots ,x^n$ are called the homogeneous coordinates. The homogeneous coordinates cannot be a good coordinate system, since $\mathbb{R}{P}^n$ is an $n$ -dimensional manifold (an $(n+1)$ -dimensional space with a one-dimensional degree of freedom killed). The charts are defined as follows. First we take the coordinate neighbourhood $U_i$ as the set of lines with $x^i\ne 0$ , and then introduce the inhomogeneous coordinates on $U_i$ by
