测地线方程

定义 · 1.1 非相对论性粒子

这些系数称为克里斯托费尔符号(Christoffel symbol)。由构造可知，它们对下方的两个指标是对称的：${\Gamma }_{jk}^i={\Gamma }_{kj}^i$。它们在后续的所有内容中都将发挥非常重要的作用。运动方程(1.7)就是测地线方程(geodesic equation)，而满足这一方程的解称为测地线(geodesic)。

These coefficients are called the Christoffel symbols. By construction, they are symmetric in their lower indices: ${\Gamma }_{jk}^i={\Gamma }_{kj}^i$ . They will play a very important role in everything that follows. The equation of motion (1.7) is the geodesic equation and solutions to this equation are known as geodesics.
