序参量空间

定义 · 4.8 凝聚态系统中的序

它由相位 ${\mathrm{e}}^{\mathrm{i}\phi }$ 决定。这样，均匀系统的取值落在某个区域 $M$ 内，该区域称为序参量空间(order parameter space)。对超导体，$M=U(1)$；对海森堡自旋系统，$M=S^2$。向列相液晶的序参量空间为 $M=\mathbb{R}{P}^2$，而超流体 ${}^3\mathrm{He}-\mathrm{A}$ 的序参量空间为 $M=S^2\times \mathrm{SO}(3)$，参见4.9 节。

For the Heisenberg spin system, $M=S^2$ . The nematic liquid crystal has $M=\mathbb{R}{P}^2$ while $M=S^2\times \mathrm{SO}(3)$ for the superfluid ${}^3\mathrm{He}-\mathrm{A}$ , see sections 4.9- 4.10.
